Who takes COMPASS
The Republic of Singapore Air Force says applicants for its officer vocations of Pilot, Weapon Systems Officer (Fighter), Air Warfare Officer and UAV Pilot take the COMPASS test, alongside medical checks and a vocational interview. The RSAF page does not describe the test’s content.
What is publicly known
A 2021 study presented at the International Symposium on Aviation Psychology calls COMPASS the Computerised Aptitude Selection System. It says COMPASS was set up to support RSAF selection of pilots and other vocations, measures cognitive abilities relevant to each vocation, and has been used for UAV pilot selection since 2003. It does not publish a current module list.
This is not the EPST COMPASS used by many airline cadet schools. A shared name does not establish the same tasks, provider or scoring.
A provisional routine
Open Psychomotor, Airways, Calculation grid and Logic sequences from the catalogue. Add Cube nets, 3D objects and 2-back memory if you want broader spatial and memory practice. This is general aviation aptitude practice, not a COMPASS simulation, and touchscreen tracking does not reproduce test equipment.
Other Singapore aviation routes
CAAS says its air traffic control selection includes aptitude assessments of cognitive and psychological attributes, without publishing the tasks. Singapore Airlines’ Ab Initio Cadet Pilot listing does not name a test battery. Check your invitation before choosing exercises for either route.

Optional Premium adds unlimited sessions, mock exams and detailed diagnostics. The interface is available in English, French, German, Spanish and Dutch. The catalogue includes 32 exercises, accessible from All in each interface language. Some exercises use their original content language.
