Terms of Service — Brain Preflight

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Brain Preflight iOS application ("the App"), published by the developer identified on the App Store listing ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What the App is

Brain Preflight is a cognitive training application. Its exercises are modeled on the formats used in aptitude and psychometric selection tests (such as those used in airline cadet selection). Scores shown in the App, including the 1–9 scale, are our own estimates for training purposes.

2. What the App is not

• The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any airline, flight school, test publisher or selection organisation (including EPST/COMPASS, Aon/cut-e, Symbiotics/PILAPT, DLR, EUROCONTROL/FEAST, pilotest, or any employer or public body).
• The App does not reproduce any actual test content or questions from any real examination.
• Training with the App does not guarantee any result on any real test, selection process or examination. Real selections are administered by third parties under their own conditions.
• The App is not a medical, psychological or diagnostic tool and provides no medical advice.

3. Free tier, subscriptions and payment

The App offers a free tier (limited daily sessions, with an optional rewarded advertisement for a bonus session) and an auto-renewable Premium subscription (monthly or yearly) purchased through your Apple account. Payment, renewal and cancellation are handled entirely by Apple: subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled at any time in your App Store account settings. Refunds are subject to Apple's policies. Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region.

4. Advertising

The free tier may display advertising (including optional rewarded ads) provided by third-party networks. Where required, you will be asked for your consent choices; you can change them in the App or in iOS settings. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to copy, resell, decompile, scrape or misuse the App or its content, and not to use the App in any unlawful way. The App and its content (exercises, design, text, graphics) are protected by intellectual-property law and remain our property or that of our licensors.

6. Availability and changes

The App works offline for its core features; some features (such as ads) require a connection. We may update, change or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms; the current version is always published at this address, and continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the App, and our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including the statutory rights of consumers.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies where relevant and prevails in case of conflict regarding the licence granted through the App Store.
